6x07 Dr. Linus: Recap
2004
Ben is a teacher, tutors Alex, his star pupil, she shares gossip about the principal. Ben wants to use it to get power, be the principal, but backs down so that Alex will get the recommendation letter she needs. Ben takes care of his Dad, who wished they hadn’t left Dharma.
2007
Ilana finds out Ben killed Jacob, gets mad, tells him to dig his own grave. FLocke helps Ben escape, offers him the power to run the island, tells him where to get a gun to kill Ilana. Ben gets gun, points it at Ilana, tells her how sad he is. Ilana tells him he can rejoin the group, so Ben chooses to stay rather than take FLocke’s offer of power.
Jack and Hurley want to go back to the temple, Richard says no living people there and takes them to the Black Rock. Richard wants to die because Jacob never told him anything, now he has no purpose. Gets Jack to light dynamite, but the fuse goes out. They join Ilana, Ben, Sun, Lapidus, and Miles (who now has Nikki and Paulo’s stolen diamonds) on the beach.
Charles Widmore is coming to the island via submarine.
