What Kate Does: The List

KEY MOMENTS
Flash-sideways Timeline

• Kate escapes from the airport after she hijacks a cab that Claire was riding in.  The cab driver flees and Kate dumps a pregnant (!) Claire without letting her take her bags.
• After Kate gets her handcuffs removed and searches Claire’s things, she realizes that she’s pregnant and goes back for her.
• The couple who was going to adopt Claire’s baby backs out which upsets Claire and causes her to go into false labor.
• Kate takes Claire to the hospital where she gets checked out by Dr. Ethan Goodspeed.
• Claire helps Kate to avoid the police and in gratitude, gives her a credit card to use.

Island Timeline

• Sayid wakes up and the last thing he remembers is being shot.
• Sawyer, embittered that Sayid (a torturer and child shooter) would get a second chance, leaves the Temple and tells them to not come after him.
• Kate goes after him along with Jin and two Others (Aldo & Justin).
• Dogen “tests” Sayid by: blowing ash over his body, shocking him and burning him with a red hot poker.  Lennon tells Sayid that he passed the test even though he actually failed.
• Jack confronts Dogen who then tells him that Sayid has been infected.  He gives Jack a pill to give to Sayid.  He decides not to give it to him.
• Dogen tells Jack that he was “brought here” like everyone else and Jack should know what he means.
• Jack ingests the pill to test Dogen who then promptly tackles Jack so that he’ll spit it out.  He admits the pill is poison.
• Sayid has supposedly been “claimed” and that a “darkness is growing inside him.”  According to Dogen, the same thing happened to Claire.
• Kate ditches Aldo, Justin & Jin and tracks Sawyer back to his house at the Barracks.  There he confesses to her that he was going to propose to Juliet, shows her the ring and then throws it into the water.  He tells Kate to leave.
• Aldo and Justin attack Jin but he is saved by none other than Claire.

WTF

• Seeing Dr. Ethan Goodspeed at the hospital.
• Claire calling out for Aaron.
• Dogan’s testing / diagnosing Sayid.
• Dogan’s reaction to Jack swallowing the “medicine” (aka poision).
